In Kazakhstan in 2020, parents of children most often called such names as: Boys: ALIHAN - 4661; AISULTAN - 3377; NURISLAM - 2959; ALDIYAR - 2362; AMIR - 2348. Girls: MEDINA - 5534; AILIN - 4946; RAYANA - 4678; AISHA - 4619; ASYLYM - 4443.
Thanks to the policy pursued in the country for the development of the fishing industry, over the past 12 years, the amount of farmed marketable fish has increased from 206 tons in 2008 to 6 798 tons in 2020.
In 2020, an average of 84 liters of tap water per day accounted for 1 inhabitant in Kazakhstan and their level increased by 6% compared to the previous year , of which the largest number accounted for a resident of the Shymkent city - 134 liters of water, the smallest for a resident of the Turkestan region – 47 liters and the Almaty region – 51 liters ( according to water supply enterprises).
In Kazakhstan, during the pandemic, the share of the population with incomes below the subsistence minimum (the poverty level) increased significantly (in 2019-4.3%) and was almost at the level of 2011 (5.3%).
As of January 1, 2021, the number of female deputies in regional maslikhats increased from 15.6% to 28.0% compared to last year, in urban maslikhats -from 23.4% to 29.4%, in district maslikhats -from 23.6% to 31.5%
The main share of investments in fixed assets in 2022 falls on industry – 48.4%
In Kazakhstan 1 381 wheelchairs were produced in 2020. All production was concentrated in Akmola region, where the production of domestic products self-propelled wheelchairs with an electric motor was launched.
